DAY 15

August 20, 2018 (Monday) - On the schedule given to me, I don't have any monday class. So all I should do every monday is to observe and assist teachers in other class; and for me this is the best part of being a teacher. This is the best part of being a teacher because it makes me know more and be closer to the students; like I can teach them by two's or even one by one. As a teacher it is good to know in which part does the students finds the lesson or topic difficult and as an assistant teacher it is our job to help and teach them one by one or by two's.

In the both classes I assisted, the topic discussed by the teachers are Multiplying and Dividing Integers. I attended both all girls and all boys class so I could see the difference of the students in their respective classes. In having an all-boys class, I could see that the teacher struggled in communicating but thanks to the few students who is good in english. Yes, it is challenging but being a teacher in an all-boys class is very fulfilling because they are very much active and all of them are really participating. While in an all-girls class, some students are active but not all are participative some of them are shy and a bit confused to the topic thought all of the girls are good in english.

We teachers or student-teachers should know who are we teaching in order for us to prepare good or even best activities for the student's personalities.
