Day 23

August 28, 2018 (Tuesday) - Grand demo day for the grade 7 student teachers!! But before I have my grand demo, I still assisted the class of Mr. Arvin, he continued his lesson about fractions in his class.

What I learned as i observed in Mr. Arvin's class, two things a teacher should always remember is the importance of the time management and to have confidence everytime you enter a classroom as a teacher.

It's my time to give everything I have!

Grand Demo time!!

As, what we (grade 7 teachers) talked about and written in our lesson plans; we will use origami as our motivational activity since our topic is about fractions. In my all-boys class, it is also effective to catch my students' interest and engagement in our math time. For me, my grand demo went well as I see my students learned something from me and they are all really participating. Some of the boys can't really understand english that's why I translated my power point presentation as always and let my supervising teacher check if the translation is correct.

As a teacher in progress, this is the best experience for me in my teaching and I will always remember all the grand demos' I have done especially this international one.
